Editorial methodology

How AppRouters evaluates software

A visible, evidence-backed process for software facts, fit judgments, freshness, and commercial separation.

Our decision model

AppRouters evaluates software around a buyer’s job-to-be-done: workflow fit, feature coverage, implementation depth, commercial model, platform availability, integration needs, and evidence freshness.

Verified facts

Pricing, platforms, features, availability, and vendor status must link to official sources.

Editorial judgment

Best for, pros, cons, and verdicts are clearly written judgments—not vendor claims.

No universal score

We avoid fake precision. A strong product can still be a poor fit for a specific workflow.

Freshness gates

Pricing expires after 30 days and core product facts after 90 days unless re-verified.

Index Gate

A page is indexable only when it has real demand or navigation value, unique editorial content, verified entity relationships, useful comparison depth, a unique canonical, and complete commercial disclosure.

Commercial independence

Affiliate links and sponsored relationships are labeled. Commercial participation does not determine editorial order, verdicts, or inclusion.
